ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
August 27, 2009 Meeting
Public Notice is hereby given that the East Hartford Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing in the Town Council Chambers, 740 Main Street, East Hartford, Connecticut, on Thursday, August 27, 2009 at 7:30 p.m., when the following applications will be heard:
Goodwin College Inc., 211 Riverside Drive a.k.a 1 Riverside Drive, Requests variances from Sections 210.5(c)(1) and 210.6(d) Signs, to permit a 5th sign on the river (west) side of the campus, and increasing the square footage by 141.4 square feet. (Zone I-3)[Continued from the July 30, 20009 meeting]
Luke Garvin, 59 Forest Street, Requests a variance from Section 209.1(a), to permit the widening of a driveway in the required front yard. (Zone R-2)
Hai Hguyen, 1515 Main Street, is appealing the order of the Zoning Enforcement Official to stop parking in the required front yard (concrete sidewalk area in front of the store). (Zone B-1)
